“MOTHERSHIP” is a 70s inspired blaxploitation mixtape-story about me being a mother leading my creative community while raising a child and navigating the realities of love and ambition. The “ship” symbolizes survival, leadership, and the generational responsibility black women shoulder, but also their power to build protect and ascend.
